Buddy Dog Humane Society's Mission is:

     "To have, care for, and facilitate the placement of stray, homeless and unwanted dogs and cats as pets in suitable homes: to establish procedures and facilities which promote the health, care, and placement of stray dogs and cats, and which prevent cruelty, and alleviate pain and suffering and, in addition, to teach and promote the education of the citizens of Massachusetts in conjunction with the care of dogs and of other pets. Euthanasia is never practiced unless it is considered more humane to do so." 

Bring in supplies:

     You can bring supplies to BDHS visit them at 151 Boston Post Road Sudbury, MA  01776, but make sure to call first at 978-443-6990. You can visit them Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun 12-5pm and Tues, Thurs 12-8pm, they are closed on Monday.

Some needed supplies are:

• Limited-slip or Martingale collars sizes: small and meduim
• Non-clumping, clay cat litter
• Bleach, laundry detergent, and liquid dish soap
• Canned dog food (any brand or variety)
• Canned cat food
• Blankets and soft cat beds
• Towels
• New, standard-sized litter boxes (no hood)
• Sturdy leashes, 6-foot and 8-foot
• Toys (squeaky and plush toys; no tennis balls or rope toys)
• DentaStix, Greenies (no rawhides please)
• Blankets and soft dog beds
• Soft, chewy treats (soft milkbones, BilJacs, Buddy Biscuits, e.t.c)
• Science Diet brand dry food
• Office supplies: dry-erase markers, pens, staples, etc.
• Paper towels and tissues
• All-purpose cleaner and sponges
• Gift Certificates to B.Js Wholesale, HomeGoods, and Walmart
